1881 Cavalry Dress HelmetThis is na original 1881 cavalry dress spike helmet. It is in pretty good condition. There is a couple of palces on it that has some damage to it. Up by the spike on the left hand side, the body is dented inward. It isn't that bad. On the one side, there are a couple of places that seem to bedamaged. It is lkie it might have been heated. It appears to have to be scorhed. It is the size fo a quarted. It has the cavalry side buttons and a cord holder on the back of it. The spike is darkened due to age. For being over 100 years old, it is in very good condition. The interior is in good cnoditon also. It would be a great asset to anyone's collection. Buyer pays all s & h fees. Insurance is extra.
