1886 West Point Military Academy Cover W Document Look
This auctoin is for the wonderful military cover and document pictured. They are in teh excellent condition shown. The cancelation mark is from west point new yokr on feb. 20th 1886. This was mailed to mr? Berry, steuben co, corning, new york. The envelope has pre printed postage for 2 cents. It is a rde washington stamp. Also has a pre-printed retrun address. The document is an vealuation / conduct report dated feb. 20, 1886 for cadet lucien g. Berry. The document is from 1st lieutenant 1st cavalry, adjutant n. (? ) w.
Brown. Shows the number of demerits from different classes for the month. On the back side is a calss evaluation. The document has no rips or tears. Envelope shows wear visible in the pictures. A great document in it's original cover. A great addition to any collection. Good luck to all bidders.
