Calvary fort army post in the easern oregon area- i believe that they are from the1866-97 era- in the pictures they seem to be of a different size, but they are in fact all matching in size-they measure 2 &1/2 inches in diameter- these cannon balls are some of several items that i recently got from an old fellow in eastern oregon-it was truely a barn estate sale-i got several interesting antiques there including one old cast iron well bucket pulley-and two other old blocks and tackle pulleys complete with rope -please check them out in my other current auctions-according to the old fellow who had these balls, he said he had found them and other very old items while plowing his fields through-out the years-he claims that there had always been rumors of his land as being an early site of a u. S. Calvary fort army post back in the 1800s -these three old cannon balls are in their original uncleaned condition and show all of their original patina- the shipping for these old balls will be priority air and be a flatrate of$10.00â?
