Indian Wars Original Model 1872 Us Cavalry Saber

Original inidan wars us cavalry saber model 1872, with scabbard. The saber is all intact and solid, with surface pitting. The grip has all the laether and brass wire, and the hilt has a nice patina. The csabbard has remnants of the plating.

The blade is 31 3/4 inches in length and the saber is 37 1/4 inches in length overall. The scabbard is 33 1/2 incehs long. There are no maker marks, but someone stippled initials in the side of the blade, near the hilt j f.
